Living near the beach and loving it

Thirty eight years ago was the first time I got to drive on Emerald Isle's Beaches. There was nothing at the point then but surf, sand, and my dream to live in the area some day.

Today I'm living just a few miles from Emerald Isle in Bluewater Cove on the White Oak River. When I created this page, I was selling real estate. Today I might help you find a Realtor®, but that is it. The only things I'm selling are books, but one, A Week at the Beach, is a travel guide for the area.

I spent nearly three years looking for our own place. We still love living in the spot we chose.
